| In 2007 there were 365 dogs in Scotland that were put to sleep, who were otherwise healthy but who they thought shouldn’t live for one reason or another. In Ireland, there were 12,500 dogs in the same year. This is how it has been for decades… 35 today, 35 yesterday and 35 tomorrow! The main reason is that these dogs are simply unwanted. A castration and neutering project could really help change these numbers. |
